Music/Worship Leader
Principal Function:
Serves as a music leader collaborating w/pastor to enhance the worship experience of the congregation. This role extends beyond musical performance to include shepherding members of all ages, managing worship teams and choirs.
Working Relationships:

Salary/Time off:
8-10 hrs weekly/$175 week.
This position is a contract (1099) w/o benefits with personal responsibility for all IRS reporting and payments. You will be given one scheduled Sunday off per quarter with pay. You will be responsible to arrange someone within the church to cover for you.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely w/pastor to curate the weekly order of service & selection of both traditional and contemporary music for a blended worship service to align w/pastor's sermon.
- Welcome congregation (members & visitors) on Sundays, announce upcoming weekly activities and present Call to Worship or enlist members to do so.
- Responsible for selection of music at all worship events including Sunday morning, Wednesday night & other worship events as scheduled including seasonal programs such as Christmas and Easter as well as occasional funerals and weddings.
- Recruit, train and spiritually mentor volunteer vocalists, instrumentalists, choir members and tech team.
- Organize and lead weekly rehearsals of worship team, choirs & other ensembles.
- Assist Children's and Youth Director w/all aspects associated with the music selection, rehearsal and performance of these groups when needed.
- Maintain a church music library.
- Attend church staff meetings and Church Council meetings when scheduled.
- Ensure all information for Sunday Worship Service is available to the secretary on Wednesday of each week for preparation of bulletin.
Qualifications:
- Personal relationship with God the Father, Jesus Christ and Holy Spirit.
- Music knowledge and experience.
- Strong vocal skills and functional skill on a primary lead instrument such as piano or guitar.
- The administrative capacity to schedule volunteers, manage rehearsals and coordinate with the church vision and ministry.
- 1-2 years experience leading church worship service.
- Ability to select songs that are musically engaging while remaining completely aligned with Baptist doctrines.
- Working knowledge of live audio mixing, soundboards, and presentation/streaming software.
- Ability to engage congregation to participate in worshiping God.

Youth Director
Principal Function:
Coordinating and promoting church program to encourage the spiritual growth of students grades 6-12.
Working Relationships:
Reports to the Pastor
Salary/Time off:
8-10 hrs weekly/$215 week.
This position is a contract (1099) part time position without benefits with personal responsibility for all IRS reporting and payments. You will be given one scheduled Sunday off per quarter. You will be responsible to arrange someone within the church to cover for you.
Responsibilities:
- Organize and coordinate a balanced approach to student ministry that includes Bible study, discipleship training, outreach, recreation, fellowship and mission action within the ministry plan of the church.
- Work with pastor, Church Council and Outreach Committee to plan and implement a balanced student ministry program.
- Provide Christian guidance and pastoral care to meet the special needs of young people and their parents.
- Keep up to date on latest educational methods.
- Recommend and manage the student ministry budget.
- Be available Sunday morning, Wednesday nights and weekends as planned for youth ministry events as well as to work with pastor in making emergency pastoral care visits as needed.
- Visit prospects and members related to student ministry.
- Comply with all established church policies and procedures as well as all applicable federal and state laws.
- Organize retreats such as Discipleship Now, summer camps and local mission or service projects.
- Recruit, train, schedule and shepherd team of adult volunteer leaders to assist with youth program.
- Partner with parents, equipping and resourcing them to support the spiritual growth of their teenagers at home.
- Attend Church council and outreach committee meetings.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma though a Bachelor's degree in Youth Ministry, Religion or Theology is highly preferred.
- 2 years experience as church youth staff or other youth related position. Volunteer service may be considered in lieu of staff experience.
- Exceptional communication skills including public speaking, quality leadership and administrative skills.
- Basic ability to use computer software.
- Commitment to biblical Christian principles and teachings both professionally and personally.
- Requires passing criminal and sexual misconduct background checks.

Part Time Secretary
Responsibilities:
- Warmly greet all visitors and church members.
- Answer calls, take messages & pass to appropriate person.
- Prepare weekly bulletin. Create and/or attach insert as needed. Work w/those needing to add items.
- Order & arrange delivery or pick up of office, custodial, & fellowship supplies.
- Order & distribute Sunday School literature.
- Review emails to church. Respond accordingly or forward to appropriate person.
- Update church policies & documents. Maintain in orderly fashion.
- File routine items & copies of bulletins
- Maintain list of current committee members & work w/committees that need items copied, typed or distributed.
- Create & file 1099's for church staff yearly.
- Update website & Facebook or provide updates to administrator.
- Track membership records (baptisms, new members, transfers) and maintain accurate contact lists electronically and membership cards w/names, numbers, addresses, and emails.
- Maintain church sign w/current events, activities & welcome messages.
- Maintain facilities use calendar in coordination w/hostess committee.
- Other duties/responsibilities as pastor directs.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality.
