April 2022 Events!

April brings exciting days at Speegleville Baptist Church!  Below is a schedule of our planned activities for April

April 9 Work Day and Clean-Up Day at the church, 8:00 – 11:00 a.m.

You are welcome to come and help do some ‘Spring Cleaning’ both inside and outside the church.

April 10 Palm Sunday

Lord’s Supper during the Sunday worship service

Church-Wide Meal after the Sunday worship service

The ham will be provided, and you are encourages to bring you favorite side- dishes and/or desserts.

April 16 Easter Egg Hunt, 10:30 a.m.

Donations of plastic Easter Egg filled with store-wrapped candy are greatly appreciated!

Plan for a great morning of hunting Easter Eggs for all children in the Speegleville area

April 17 Easter Sunday

A great day of celebrating the resurrection of our Lord!

Don’t forget our Sunday and Wednesday schedules:

Sunday: 

Sunday School 9:00 a.m.

Sunday Worship 10:00 a.m.

Wednesday: 

Meal 6:00 p.m.

Bible studies (children, youth, adults) 6:30 – 7:15 p.m.

We are still selling Easter Lilies for this year’s Easter Sunday service.  You may purchase a lily “in honor” or ‘in memory” of someone.  The cost is $20.00 for each lily, and the proceeds will be used for our youth ministry. The deadline to order lilies is Sunday, April 10.

I hope you will make plans to be a part of these exciting events in the life of our church as we enter into this Easter season with joyful hearts for the blessings of new life through Jesus Christ.
