Speegleville Christmas Project
Dear Church Family,
We have a wonderful opportunity to serve our Speegleville community by helping to make Christmas a special time for our community. We are doing a Christmas gift drive this Christmas for some families in our community.
We would love to share a list of items needed and have each of you bring these items to the church for this project. However, since we are still not meeting in person, COVID-19 numbers are rising, and we are not wanting to duplicate presents, we have decided that this year monetary donations, rather than actual gifts, would be best. So, if you would like to help with this Christmas project, please send or bring by your special offering to the church. Make the check payable to Speegleville Baptist Church and on the memo write: “Food Pantry-Toys” to ensure that the offerings for this project are posted in the correct account. The deadline for receiving these donations is Monday, December 14.
For safety’s sake, we will order most of the presents online. We already know of a few families from our food pantry ministry that we will be helping this Christmas and we are waiting for a list from Speegleville Elementary of families that we can assist. Thank you in advance for helping with this meaningful project.
As always, thank you for your continued support of our church through your prayers, on-line participation, and giving. May we all remember the true meaning of Christmas…even in the midst of COVID-19.
Blessings,
Joe Bailey
