September 2020 Update
September 11, 2020
Dear Church Family,
As we continue to live this new, temporary normal, I trust that we we are not quarantined from God. There is no physical distancing from the presence of God. So, even during this season of COVID-19 God is with us and God will never leave nor forsake us, and for that assurance I am thankful.
We will continue to meet on-line through September. As we continue to monitor the numbers from McLennan county for COVID-19, I am hopeful that one day soon we will be able to gather together, on a limited basis, for worship at our Speegleville Baptist Church building. Until then, thank you for your continued faithfulness in joining our FaceBook page worship services and Bible studies. Thank you also for your faithfulness to pray for our church, to pray for one another, and to pray for those around us and around the world. In addition, thank you for your continued faithfulness in giving your offerings to our church. As I have said many times, we at Speegleville Baptist Church, are a blessed family of faith.
This Wednesday, September 16, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m., is our next Food Pantry. If you, or someone you know, is in need of food, then please call 254-730-0410 to make an appointment. We are grateful for this ministry as we continue meeting physical needs in the Speegleville area.
Also this Wednesday, September 16, Jordan Humler will begin a new Bible study on the Trinity. Make special plans to watch on our church’s FaceBook page this and be a part of this three-part series.
Thank you for your prayers, and lets’s continue praying for one another.
Blessings,
Joe Bailey
