Church News — March 27, 2020
As we continue learning to live under a “shelter in place” order, I pray that all is well with you and your household. Once again, we will not be meeting at our church building to worship this Sunday (March 29), but remember that Speegleville Baptist Church is still being church!
This Sunday morning we will have another worship service on the church’s Facebook page. I hope you will make it a special time for you and your family to join together in worship this Sunday morning. We will have opportunities to pray, sing, and hear God’s word together. As we all continue to adjust to this “new normal,” I pray that Sunday morning will be a time for all of us to draw nearer to God.
We have extended the postponement of all of our church’s onsite activities through April 11. You can check our church’s webpage for more information.
Thanks again to all who have continued to faithfully give through your contributions to the church. You can still mail or give on-line and, we now have another option: a drop-box located on the door facing the parking lot on the Sunday School building.
Please check our Facebook page throughout the week for more announcements and Bible studies. Shauna Suggs has a special Bible story for our children. Take time to see and hear this wonderful Bible lesson from a very familiar parable that I think adults would enjoy as well.
A special Happy Birthday to our worship leader, David Denning, who has a BIG birthday today! Speaking of birthdays, belated birthday wishes to Ernestine Cole, Susan Helton and Robert and Barbara Hoffman.
Let’s keep each other in our prayers. Please to do not hesitate to let me know of any special needs you, or someone you know, has.
Blessings,
Joe Bailey
