Easter 2019

FROM THE PASTOR

Thank you for your support of Speegleville Baptist Church.  God is doing great things through our church, and I know that you will not want to miss any of the activities that will be going on during the month of April.  

On that first resurrection morning, the angel said to the women at the grave of Jesus:  “Do not be afraid, for I know that you are looking for Jesus, who was crucified.  He is not here; he has risen, just as he said”  (Matthew 28:5, 6). 

Easter is the season we celebrate the sacrifice of Jesus and the empty tomb.  We have victory in Jesus because the grave is empty.

I pray that each of us live our lives in that victory every day.Truly, our Lord has risen and is alive today.  I pray that Christ is a living reality in your life each day

I know that April will be another great month at church, and I look forward to seeing each of you in church during April as we join together to:  Worship God, Share Christ, and Build Believers.
